Every 2,160 years, Biosphere Earth changes star sign.
Each 2,160 time period is called an Astrological Age.
Right now, we’re still in the Age of Pisces… but not for much longer. That’s because the Age of Aquarius officially begins on January 20, 2025.
Most people are aware of which star sign they are, but that’s about as much as the average person knows about the science of astrology.
The basics, however, are quite straightforward:
There are 12-star signs: Aries, Leo, Sagittarius, Taurus, Virgo, Capricorn, Gemini, Libra, Aquarius, Cancer, Scorpio and Pisces. Each of these 12 star signs is made up of a constellation of stars. A constellation is simply a gathering or group of neighbouring stars. A different star sign constellation takes over as ruler of Biosphere Earth every 2,160 years.
Each 2,160-year period is called an ASTROLOGICAL AGE. A full procession or GREAT YEAR takes 25,920 years to complete, meaning each of the 12-star signs has taken rulership over life in Biosphere Earth. Once a full procession or GREAT YEAR is complete, the cycle begins again – starting in Pisces rather than Aries, since the order of Astrological Ages is reversed.
To calculate the length of a GREAT YEAR, we multiply the 12-star signs by the duration of a single Astrological Age: 12 x 2160 = 25,920. Get it?
Each star sign is comprised of a constellation of stars. To understand how each star sign constellation is distinguished from the next, please draw a large circle on a piece of paper. Now separate the circle into 12 equal segments or pizza slices. The stars in each of the 12 segments comprise each constellation. The circle represents the firmament above your head upon which the stars are fixed. In other words, the constellations were arranged, quite simply, by splitting the sky into 12 equal pizza slice-shaped portions. And the stars within each portion are referred to as constellations.
Novice stargazers can easily acquaint themselves with the constellations Gemini and Sagittarius.
On a clear night, step outside and find the Milky Way. The constellation of Gemini can be found where the Milky Way is at its whitest. You’ll discover Sagittarius at the opposite end of the trail, where the Milky Way is dark and murky.
When the skies are cloud-covered, use Stellarium Online (linked below) to keep track of the movements of the Sun, Moon, planets and stars. And when the skies are clear, this fantastic web tool will help you identify which celestial bodies are transiting the night sky above your location.
On your birthday, the ‘fixed’ stars are always in the same place. This is because the stars are ‘fixed’ to the firmament, which takes 12 months to return to its original starting position. This is why one Earth year has a duration of 12 months.
The stars are ‘fixed’ to the firmament or dome that ceilings Biosphere Earth. The ‘fixed’ stars move in unison and always return to the same position in the sky after 12 months. This is why the stars are always in the same position on your birthday.
The planets are known as ‘wandering’ stars since they travel independently of each other. The planets are not ‘fixed’ to the firmament like the stars.
To clarify: 99% of the lights you see in the night sky are fixed to the firmament and travel clockwise in unison, taking 12 months to return to their original starting position. The planets, on the other hand, move independently of one another and travel at vastly different speeds. A bit like this:
Each Astrological Age embodies the emotional principles of the star sign constellation it represents. Each Astrological Age is also governed by the ‘power’, ‘mood’ and ‘theme’ of the particular planet that rules over it.
For example, Jupiter (Jesus) ruled the world during the Age of Pisces. In the coming Age of Aquarius, which officially begins on January 20, AD 2025, Saturn (Satan) will take over as ruler of Biosphere Earth…
Big changes in art, culture, governance and also to the fabric of your societal structures are sure to follow an Astrological Age change. These changes occur by way of human experience, as the change in rulership in the heavens influences human beings on the the ground to think and act in new and novel ways. Sometimes these changes in attitude benefit humanity… and sometimes they don’t…

The purpose of planet Saturn is to hone your behaviour. The ringed planet teaches discipline, responsibility and accountability by way of the Law of Karma.
In the west, Christianity teaches us to be cautious about our actions for we ‘Reap As We Sow’. Despite the difference in terminology, the religions of the east and west are trying to alert you to the same thing: the core teachings of the planet Saturn.
Every year we celebrate our birthday on the same day. This celebration marks the return of the Sun to its location at the time of our birth. This is what we call a SOLAR RETURN.
Here in the western world, we only celebrate our solar return. But the Sun isn’t the only planet to return to the heavenly position it occupied on the day you were born:
When one of the planets returns to its natal position in our birth chart, it brings with it a wave of restorative and regenerative energy to freshen up the specific areas of our life that it is responsible for governing.
These return periods are usually very intense. Old beliefs and thought patterns, as well as relationships, ambitions and appetites are often shaken up or even torn apart, as the returning planet attempts to ‘recalibrate’ and ‘evolve’ our actions, perceptions and behaviour in order to clear the path ahead for our future development here in Biosphere Earth.
Since each planet is set to a specific harmonic frequency unique to itself, each planetary return is significant in different ways. During our Mars return, for instance, which takes place every two years, we experience a burst of physical energy that motivates us to attack our ambitions head on. When Venus returns, she brings with her opportunity for social growth and changes in our love life.
Nevertheless, the most famous planetary return in Biosphere Earth – at least in astrological circles – is your Saturn return, which occurs around the time of your 27th birthday.
When Saturn returns to her natal position in your birth chart, she invites you to become more responsible and disciplined in your behaviour.
Many brilliant musicians, artists and creatives living wild, adrenaline-fuelled lifestyles die spectacularly during their Saturn Return on account of their refusal to listen to pleas for self-control from the ringed planet.
The ever-electric Jimi Hendrix, Doors’ rebel Jim Morrison, Rolling Stones guitarist Brian Jones, Ibiza’s legendary Space nightclub, freedom fighter Janis Joplin, Kurt Cobain, lead singer of Nirvana, and contralto voice from heaven Amy Winehouse all belong to the exclusive as fuck, 27 Club.

The planet Uranus – the planet of change – returns to its natal position in our birth chart after a whopping 84 years. This means those of us who die before our 84th birthday will not experience a Uranus Return during this incarnation.
Most of us, however, will experience a Uranus Opposition during this incarnation.
A Uranus Opposition occurs every 42 years when Uranus, father of the Titans, arrives at a position in the cosmos directly opposite his location on the day you were born.
Anyone who has experienced a ‘mid-life crisis’ will know how deeply a Uranus Opposition can work to reshape the contours of their life experience. Expect radical changes to your life journey and anticipate new and exciting chapters in your story to open up during this period of your life.
Many people going through their Uranus Opposition feel as if they are being suffocated and oppressed and for this reason they endeavour to break away from whoever or whatever they perceive is holding them back. This is why people experiencing a ‘mid-life crisis’ will often divorce their spouse, buy a sports car and/or drastically contemporise their image, even going as far as to have plastic surgery.
The ultimate objective of life here in Biosphere Earth is to come into balance with the teachings of each planet, so their influence is NO LONGER FELT.
When you achieve liberation from the influence of the celestial bodies, you are said to become the stillness in the eye of the storm. In other words, while the electromagnetic ether energy produced by the Sun, Moon, planets and stars is seen to be effecting all those around you, you remain unmoved. This is the true meaning of Rudyard Kipling’s famous poem, ‘If’.
“If you can keep your head when all about you are losing theirs… yours is the Earth and everything that’s in it…”
